Freshly Made Sketches 27

This week, Lesley's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches was a doozie for me!  Yesterday I promised to show you card that challenged me out of my comfort zone and this card definitely fits that bill.

I thought long and hard about this sketch before I settled on this card.  I like circles, I just don't usually make so many on the same card!  I very nearly gave up because I couldn't decide on colors or stamps.  Then I spied my Spice Cake DSP and realized that it has been languishing in my stash for too long and needed to see the light of day.  The patterns were perfect for this skekch and I put this little number together using a couple different pages from that paper pack and followed up with the matching cardstock of More Mustard and Soft Suede.  The flower was actually cut from the Spice Cake DSP!

Now I hope you'll give this sketch a try.  Don't forget to visit the design team and check out their amazing creations.

Spice Cake to the rescue! Cake never fails :) Love how this turned out - and aren't you clever to snip out the flower! Love the big button!

Jen - this card is gorgeous - you don't look out of your comfort zone at all with this many circles. Love the colours and I love how you always create such a "clean card"!

This is a terrific card! Love that Spice Cake and the Big Designer Buttons.

Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know that Word Verification is turned on at my blog (allstampingworld.blogspot.com) I thought I had figured out how to turn it off. I turned it off again and hope it stays that way this time. Word Verification is so annoying, IRL I would use a less kind word than "annoying."
