Mercy's Sketch & Paper Players

I think it's been a while since I've participated in Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge.  So this week I was determined to make a card with the sketch.  I paired it with the Paper Players color challenge (which I think has the most delicious colors I've seen this Christmas season).

I used Crumb Cake as my neutral so I didn't want to use another light colored panel on the oval (such as whisper white or very vanilla).  I stamped the tree from Perfect Presentation in Versamark on my Cherry Cobbler oval and embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I sponged the edges of the Cherry Cobbler oval and I think it makes the embossed tree show up nicely.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have time to stamp today!

  1. Hi Jen! I am so happy you played along with the Paper Players this week! I love the embossed image on the Cherry face! Neat idea...use of Crumb cake really sets off the Cherry Cobbler!!

  2. Very pretty! The mix of DSP is beautiful and I love the image embossed on the Cherry Cobbler card stock. The sponging around the edges gives it SO much pop! Thanks for joining The Paper Players! :)
