As I write this, I am reminded that I used to be terrified of color challenges! Up until I was invited to become part of the ColorLab design team, I almost never made a card for a color challenge because I was afraid that I would fail miserably! But as I have discovered, colors are not scary at all so I think I'll keep at it! For this particular color challenge, I thought the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge was a nice complement.
For this card I used some Basic Gray from the retired Lap of Luxury designer paper as well as a smidge of Lucky Limeade from the Berry Blossoms designer paper. I stamped my leaves in Lucky Limeade and was afraid that they would look a little lost against the Lucky Limeade dp, so I very lightly sponged them with a little Basic Gray on the edges. I think it's a nice contrast.
So, it's great to be back in my stamp room being creative! And I hope you have some time today to be a little creative yourself!
This is a fabulous card, nicely done!!
