Friday Mashup 33 - It's a Tag!

I've been making tags for Christmas presents and thought that I'd try and turn the sketch challenge this week at The Friday Mashup into a tag.

And since I've been staring at some rosettes and my mini paper rosettes sizzix die has been neglected I decided to go the full monty and mashup the challenge!


I flipped the sketch to make the tag go the long way.  The base is Always Artichoke and matches perfectly with some of my Wintergreen DSP.  I added a layer of the musical notes from the Newsprint DSP because I saw it on another tag somewhere and thought it looked really cool.  I sponged all the edges in Early Espresso to give it a vintage feel.  And the little Merry Christmas sentiment is from Delightful Decorations.

    I love that mini Rosette.. Which die is that you used.. I have one from Tim Holtz but I haven't taken it out of the package if it's the same one I'm busting that puppy out.. This is so cute!! The paper with the distressed edges add such a great Vintage look to your tag. Thank you for joining us at the The Friday Mashup.

    Jen, I agree with Holly- love that mini rosette and it does look like a die I also have that I need to put to use:-) Also love the musical strip and the use of the DSP- thanks again for sharing with us at the Friday Mashup!

    I love the strip of music, Jen! I think that was nice touch with the rest of the card. I love the distressed look and that mini rosette is adorable! Maybe I need to get a die since I can't seem to get mine to work! :) Thanks for joining The Friday Mashup this week!

    Oh Wow, Jen, this looks fabulous, I loved that paper when it came out, soft greens and so masculine, I still have a few pieces left myself. Love your rosette, and the sentiment as its centre is really great.

    I'm not usually a fan of rosettes but your smaller version is great. I love the strip of music across the card too.

    Fabulous tag Jen! I love the colors you chose and the Wintergreen DSP is some of my fav! I need a rosette die, I might actually make some if I had that!
