colourQ 158

It's that time of year when all the color challenges are filled with the beautiful colors of the season.  Today at colourQ, Arielle has got some great Halloween colors for us - the perfect excuse to ink up Best Fiends again!

Who wouldn't love getting a bouquet of eyeballs from their very own admirer?  This guy actually reminds me of Vincent Price a little bit, but somewhat less scary!  My layout is from the latest challenge at retro sketches and was perfect to use up a few scraps I had of the More Mustard paper from Halloween Nights.

The hat you see in the swatch for the color palette is from this website.  It's called Witchypoo's hat, but I remember the character Witchypoo from H. R. Pufnstuf and this can't possibly be referring to her hat.  That one was sort of crumpled and looked more like the sorting hat in the Harry Potter series.  In any event, I always get a kick out of seeing something that reminds me of her, her crazy socks, and that show!

Over at colourQ the DT has done these colors proud.  There's loads of inspiration (and not all of it Halloween related) so go check it out.  I hope you can join us this week!
