It feels like it's been about a year since I got down to business in my stamp room. In actuality it's only been about four days, but four days is a long time right? I've had a busy week and weekend but I was intrigued enough by the color challenge at Color Throwdown that I wanted to make sure that I carved out some time to participate. I started this card Saturday night and finished it up on Sunday night (who knew it would take me two days to make a CAS card)!!! My layout is courtesy of the sketch challenge at Fab Friday.
In real life Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand are two distinct colors, but on my card they seem almost identical. The Sanded background on the circle is stamped in Sahara Sand while the flower stem from Summer Silhouettes is stamped in Crumb Cake.
I know they look the same but I swear they're not! Thank goodness the flower petals and sentiment stamped in Pumpkin Pie add some color!
Thanks for stopping by!
It was great meeting you yesterday. Love your blog.
