Hey, hey stamping friends! We're back at colourQ, after a wee holiday break, with a brand new palette inspired by this comfy, cozy flannel bedding - just the sort of thing you want on a cold winter's night! My card features a poppy because I'm dreaming of spring!
Since I made this card I wish I had done a little something extra with that big layer. It's a little too plain, even for me, but it will have to do! The layout for my card comes from the latest Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and since I used some new stamps and dies I'm throwing this into the ring at the always-amazing Darnell's NBUS challenge.
The colourQ design team have got some gorgeous cards to show you, so be sure to pop on over there to check them out. We'd love to see you in the gallery!
Thanks for stopping by!

Oh this is just lovely Jen - you combine colours and make them look so easy!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! You make these colours work so well together! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Love those colors!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Jen!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty and simple poppy!! I love your card Jen!! :>)
ReplyDeleteI don't think there's a prettier flower than a poppy. It's just true! You've created a really lovely card. The color combination wouldn't penetrate my brain, but after seeing this gorgeous card, I may have to give it another look. Love your card. Bev
ReplyDeleteFunny you should have posted this Jen, I received taht very stamp set just yesterday and made a one layer card with it today! Love what you did with it! It's a lovely set, isn't it? Hazel x
ReplyDeleteJen, this is just beautiful. I love the single poppy and your shading is so perfect. Fabulous card Jen and not plain in any way at all.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness , what a beauty !
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your use of the colors. I really like the white panel - it keeps the entire focus on the poppy. And I love how the strip of Razzleberry accents it all.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is proof that you can do the 5-color challenges so well... (if that makes no sense, see my comment on your FMS card). The poppy is beautiful, and the single enamel dot really adds an artistic look to this cool card.
ReplyDeleteOh, no, don't touch a hair on the head of that pretty card, Jen! Just like the card says, it makes me happy!! Those are challenging colors but you showcased each one equally, which isn't that easy to do, IMHO!! Thank you so much for entering it in my NBUS Challenge #3!! Hugs, Darnell
