Hello! It's Friday and that means it's time for a new challenge at Tag You're It! This week our tag inspiration comes from Susan.
I didn't have any birdhouse images but I did have this cool die which features a stitched branch and a sweet little birdie. I took some of the colors from Susan's tag like the brown, yellow, and green and voila! I was done!
My teamies at Tag You're It have created some wonderful tags for this challenge so be sure to check them out! I hope we get to see you in the gallery!
Thanks for stopping by!

I love your tag using that bird from the set I should have bought a long time ago. Beautiful tag and take on Susan’s tag!

ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!!!
Way to make it your own! This is a great compliment to Susan's tag. What a darling little bird, and I love that he's all dressed in yellow. He really pops against the brown branch. Great tag...might have to play along this time.... Have a great weekend. Bev
ReplyDeleteHi Jen: thank you for visiting my candy cane card! I used a stamp (left hand side of the set) from STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set. I was too lazy to create a mask, so I just inked one edge of the dotted stamp in some Versafine shimmery silver ink and tippy-toed my way around the image. It was pretty quick. I'm not one for mixed media (love what others do, though), but I find these stamps cool for creating 'shadow' or background images. Here's the link: http://stamplorations.auctivacommerce.com/Mixed-Media-Grunge-April-2015-P5229585.aspx I'm sure there's easier/smarter ways but...my mind wasn't going there *grin*
ReplyDeleteWishing you a wonderful weekend~c
