But enough about my weather woes. It's Wednesday so there's a new sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch designer is Kim and I love her classic sketch.
My colors come from Just Us Girls and I just would like to point out that behind that chocolate banner is a layer of vellum that stretches the full width of the card. It's hard to see in the photo but it's subtle and pretty in real life.

I always enjoy your cards Jen and this one is no exception. Glad you mentioned the vellum as it is hard to notice but bet it looks fabulous in real life! Thanks so much for being with us at Just Us Girls this week for Color week.
ReplyDeleteNice take on that sketch and our colors! Love the big turquoise dotty circle and how you worked in the brown on the sentiment and the khaki. Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
ReplyDeleteI love that image with all the circles! Beautiful in blue!
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect take on the sketch Jen, and I like the colors! Pretty card! We woke up to snow this morning too, I'm so over the white stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love your big turquoise circle! And the way you pulled those colors into it is just perfect. (Still in the 60s and dry out here in Colorado!!)
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect stamp for the sketch! And I love how your matching enamel dots look like they've escaped from the stamped image. Hoping that Spring is on the way to Massachusetts!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great card Jen! I love Dot Spot!!! The turquoise is such a happy colour! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteSPOT on! Jen : ) This is great! I can't believe what a perfect addition those epoxy dots are!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Every time you use this Dot Spot set, I remind myself that I really should use mine! But then I forget again until the next time you use it :) This is a fabulous card and a very cool take on the sketch.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing background stamp - it looks so striking in that vibrant blue! You totally rocked these colours!
