CAS(E) This Sketch 282

I missed the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge last week because I was in a kind of vacation-induced fog!  I was just starting the first week of a two-week holiday when I realized I was knee deep in paint, garden shovels, flowers, plus various other household implements and there was no way that I was going to put together a card in time for the challenge.  But this week I've set aside my chores and crafted a Christmas card for Brian's awesome sketch.

I've had this particular patterned paper in my stash for a really long time and knew instantly that it was absolutely perfect for this sketch.  And since poinsettias are a favorite of mine for Christmas cards I knew it would be just the right thing for that circle on the sketch.  I had the most trouble deciding what color the poinsettia would be but in the end decided on an off white with a bit of red glimmer paper for the center.

My CAS(E) This Sketch design teammates have made some fabulous cards with this sketch so you will definitely be inspired to play along!  Thanks for stopping by!
