Hey all! It's time for a brand new challenge at Freshly Made Sketches! We've got a great sketch for you from our hostess Kim.
There's a whole lot of snow falling in blogland so I thought I'd hop on the bandwagon. Ironic since I hate snow in real life. I always say, the only good snowflake is a pretty one on the front of a card! But real snow aside, for this sketch I stamped a few grungy background lines in silver and followed it up with a couple of snowflakes layered together. I think I even used a Christmas sentiment on the inside which puts me one more in the Christmas-card-stash plus side. I don't think I've made so many Christmas cards so early in the year in my life!
There's snow at Addicted to CAS and snowflakes at Challenge Up Your Life.
Thanks for stopping by! Our always-amazing Freshly Made Sketches design team has made some fabulous cards to inspire you to play along with us. We hope you'll join us in the gallery!

ReplyDeleteI am with you on the snow! I love watching a sweet snowfall from inside, but I can do without it all the rest of the time. LOVE your card and all the little details.
ReplyDeleteI love your frosty scene! Living in Texas, we rarely see the white stuff, but my daughter who goes to college in Michigan loves it and regularly sends me pictures of perfect snowflakes she finds on her scarf as she's walking to class. I'm happy she loves it but I think I like your snowflake better!
ReplyDeleteYep, that's the kind of snow I like too! Terrific card, Jen!
ReplyDeleteYou are on a roll for next year for sure - I have made ONE so far! I love your snowy design - you knew I would! I think you secretly have a fondness for the white stuff!
ReplyDeleteThis card is just gorgeous Jen! I love that snowflake and all of that pretty silver! I totally agree that the only good snowflake is one on a card!
ReplyDeleteYour grungy lines work perfectly with this gorgeous snowflake! Such a great combo! And we very rarely get snow here and I'm a big fan of it staying that way!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing at Challenge up your life. I like your clean and simple card.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and wintry looking. (I don't like snow in real life either) but it looks wonderful on your card.
ReplyDeleteI love the grungy look behind your snowflakes. It's all so crisp and...snowy....in the clean, neutral colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Jen! Thank you for participating in our "Snow" challenge at ATCAS.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Fran
WOW! Great card! I love the layers and neutral palette. The grungy background lines are perfect against the crisp edges of the die cut snowflakes. Thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS.
