Well, it's been a while since I've posted a card here. I think the Christmas holiday really threw me for a loop and I must have needed some time to regroup. But I'm back today with a special post. I'm joining the design team at CASology this week as a guest designer and our cue word is Encourage.
Sometimes I really like to take the whole "white space" theme and kick it up a notch by making it....not white. In this case a bright colored background frames the glittery die cut YOU and the linear sentiment that I layered over it. Super simple and so fun. I love how the glitter paper makes this a bit special!
And special thanks to Melissa and the entire design team at CASology for inviting me to join them this week! I'm thrilled to pieces to be here!
Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies
Stamps: All About You (My Favorite Things)
Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White (Stampin' Up!); silver glitter (Recollections)
Ink: Jet Black (Altenew)
Accessories: You Trio die (My Favorite Things)
This is my favorite kind of CAS, Jen! It's bold, graphic and fun! Thanks for guest designing with us this week!
ReplyDeleteSometimes we all need to regroup...I felt the same way this Christmas! Your bright pink card is just the spark we need to get started again!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely fabulous. Thanks for the reminder of the impact a colored and textured background can make. And, thanks so much for being our Guest Designer at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteCAS perfection! I love the vibrant background color! The perfect combination of color, texture and a sentiment focused main image!
ReplyDeleteSo happy you could guest with us at CASology, Jen! Happy New Year! :)
Great card, Jen!! LOVE that vivid pink with the white and glittery sentiment. This is a perfect example of a CAS card in a non-white-white space. Fabulous, and congrats on your GD over at CASology!!! Woohooooo. Bev
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Jen!! This card is perfectly perfect! I like your pink white space!!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! I love it ... the "new white" SHOULD be pink! : )
