I couldn't resist one more post today because I just remembered that Suzanne Dahlberg at The Card Yard is hosting a blog hop featuring the ugliest card you've ever made.
Now I've made a lot of ugly cards in my day, but this one sticks out most particularly in my mind. If you're squeamish you might want to look away!
According to the blog post where I shamelessly showcased this card, I was inspired by a sketch and a shopping bag that I saw at Marshall's. Sadly, I don't remember the shopping bag and didn't do justice to the sketch. The colors are blah and what's up with that washed out blue flower?
I've got to say that it was fun to hunt around on my laptop trying to find this beauty. There were any number of cards that I could have chosen for this illustrious blog hop, but this one deserved to be it!
Thanks Suzanne for hosting this fun trip down memory lane!

Nope, not buying it Jen! Not ugly, not as refined as your style has become, but not ugly. Happy April Fool's day!
Sorry. Not totally ugly. I will admit the blue flower needs a little help, but definitely totally ugly. This sure was a fun event, wasn't it?! I've laughed all day! : ) Bev
I'm glad you remembered, Jen! This has been a blast! I have to say, though, that if you popped off that blue flower, this would be barred admittance into the Ugliest Card Ever hop!!
I'm glad you participated in the ugly card hop. Although, I have to admit this baby isn't all that bad if you remove that blue flower thingy and replace it with something else maybe?
I agree, this card isn't in the ugly category. I can see how you've changed and grown since then though. LOVE your current style!!!
Jen, I don't think this is bad at all, but I am also SOOOOO happily distracted by the glorious image of Ryan Gosling in your sidebar. {sigh}
You just made my night! Thanks for joining the hop!
