Did you ever start to make a card and nothing goes right. The way you use the colors is wrong, the images are wrong, pretty much everything is wrong. But you keep on trying and before long you realize that what you've got is total crap and you don't know why you even bothered. Well this is one of those cards. But I tried for so long to get a card I was happy with that I figured I'd show you what I ended up with anyway.
I thought the sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch was so interesting and I really wanted to play along. Plus the colors at Color Throwdown were a perfect monochromatic blend. I thought for sure these were a match made in heaven. Alas, for me it wasn't to be and I will unashamedly admit that I made at least five versions of my card before I settled on this one. I don't hate this card, but it's definitely not what I had in mind when I started!
Thanks for stopping by!

You're not alone! I can't tell you how many times, I have gone through the same thing! ;) Though, I'm glad you shared...I think your card is pretty darn cool! You got the sketch in there, as well as the colors and some awesome stamping! ;)
Hi just had same thing happened to me. So you are definitely not alone. PS I still think your card looks great.
And you make it look so easy......:)
I saw your card linked up to CAS(E) this Sketch just before mine and even the thumbnail looked intriguing. Full size, I think the whole card is pretty fabulous! I also tried to combine Color Throwdown with this sketch and it was an unmitigated disaster - so bad I wouldn't even post it. I had much better luck with the ColourQ colors.
This made me laugh Jen - EVERY single card I do at the moment feels like that! I really like it by the way...you're being way too hard on yourself!
love the sentiment - you definitely 'kick ass' on this card!
Oh, this is so cool & fun! Fabulous take on the sketch!
What a fun post, Jen! I love how your card turned out, and what a cool sentiment! Thanks for joining us at CAS(E) this Sketch!
Feel for ya. I just had one of those crafting sessions yesterday. Posted it anyway (and used some sequins to cover up the worst of it ;)
Love this card too Jen! I need some slightly irreverent sentiments to use....
Such a fun and super cool card Jen. Love the way you used the colors and your take on the sketch. Thank you for playing along with us at The Color Throwdown.
