Freshly Made Sketches 159 and Colour Me...! 43

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Today we've got a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and this week the sketch is brought to you by little ol' me!  I hope you find lots of inspiration in it!

My card incorporates the palette at Colour Me...! where I am the guest designer this month.  I've never been a big fan of Crisp Cantaloupe but I've got to say that I've got a new appreciation for it now.  It seems to go with just about everything!

I recently got this new stamp set and I've been dying to ink it up.  The big square layer on the sketch was perfect for showing off the flowers stamped in these beautiful colors.   It was a little tricky at first figuring out how the layers of these stamps went together but I have to admit it was fun figuring it out and seeing how the flowers gained depth each time I added a layer.

The ladies at Freshly Made Sketches and Colour Me...! have created some beautiful cards for you to see so be sure to check them out.  We'd love to have you join us this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

Cantaloupe is one of the colors that is overlooked in my house, but this soft and feminine card may just inspire me to dust it off and use it. Great sketch and a gorgeous card! I love those "builder" sets but they can sometimes be tricky - you've made it look so natural.

Not a cantaloupe fan (the color or the melon), but you made it look great! I love those flowers.

So beautiful Jen! Love the look of the Crisp Cantaloupe. Those flowers are beautiful as well and you've coloured them so well! Of course that bow just "ties" it all together so nicely!

Gorgeous Jen, You used those colours perfectly and the end result is perfect. I have had this set for months and have never taken it out of the package. Shame on me, I think I am afraid I won't be able to line them up! How is that for confidence?
