I changed my mind about a million times on the way to making this card. This is actually the first incarnation - the other ones didn't make the cut! This long, cold winter has made me neglect my pretty butterflies so it was a treat to dig out this old favorite from Altenew. The colors come from the latest challenge at Fab Friday.
I sure hope you join us at Freshly Made Sketches this week. If you are in need of inspiration you can always check out the design team cards. You're gonna love them!
Thanks for stopping by!

I have a few minutes this morning, so I stopped by your blog, and boy!, I'm glad I did. You've given us all a nice taste of Springtime with this pretty card, Jen. I love the pink base of your card, and that butterfly all dressed in blues is just what we need. What a sweet card. Maybe this beauty will spur on nice weather...we can only hope! Bev
So glad you pulled out one of your butterflies! This one is a beauty, and I love how you've used the embossing paste with the sketch. A pretty Spring card, Jen!
This is such a lovely butterfly set - and I LOVE it in our colors, lol. Love that embossing paste stripe - so much dimension! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
This is fresh lovely and perfect for spring Jen!
Your butterfly is absolutely stunning! The colors are just perfect and I love your clean design. Thanks for joining us at Fab Friday, hope to see you again soon!
Loving those stenciled stripes and the pop of the blue butterfly is wonderful against the pink!
This is such a pretty card Jen! I love the embossed lines! The butterfly stands out so nicely! Such pretty colours!
Those Altenew butterflies are gorgeous and you've made a beautiful card! Great idea to use embossing paste and a stencil for the horizontal panel.
Jen using the texture of the embossing paste along with the delicate butterfly is such a fabulous contrast--beautiful!
If we keep making spring cards, it will surely come (and stay). This is really lovely. The textured paste is wonderful for the sketch.
