Freshly Made Sketches 443

Hey all!  Apologies for being a wee bit late with my Freshly Made Sketches post. Our hostess and sketch designer this week is Lee Ann.  What a fun sketch she made for us!

I opted for a subtle design for those triangles on the top and bottom so I used embossing paste and a stencil to create the design on those layers.  Then I layered a leafy die cut on top and added some sequins.  My colors were inspired by the Less is More challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!  My fellow design team members at Freshly Made Sketches have got some beautiful cards for you to see.  I'm sure they'll inspire you to play along with us!

Supplies
Stamps:  Botanical Print (The Stamp Market)
Paper:  Whisper White, Hello Honey (Stampin' Up!)
Ink:  Silver Stone (Altenew)
Accessories:  Fresh Foliage die (Memory Box); Distress Grid stencil (Sheena); Love and Sparkles sequins (Neat & Tangled); white embossing paste (Dreamweaver)

I love the way you used the sketch! The foliage die is wonderful - and the unique triangles/embossing background behind it really makes it pop!

Your textured background is a perfect way to use the sketch and the foliage in front is such a beautiful contrast.

Gosh, this is gorgeous! Whatever is thrown at you, you come up with a design that usually includes another challenge and looks like you created with ease. Love your textured background!
