The color challenge this week at ColourQ is all about some of the new SU! In Colors.
Look how fabulous these colors look together! Those blues, the coral and a little bit of brown thrown in. Ooh-la-la! I could hardly wait to get started on a card for this. And since it seems like forever since I made a card for the Stamping 411 sketch challenge, that's the sketch I chose.
I don't mind saying that Island Indigo is fast becoming my new favorite color. If you haven't seen it I'm not sure that I can adequately describe how it looks. It's too blue to be called teal and too dark to be turquoise. It's too light to be a true indigo but it's not cobalt either. In short, it is indescribable but entirely wonderful and I can't wait to use it again!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have time to stamp today!

Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge 155
I forgot that I had these sweet pea felt flowers. They're awfully cute and I'm sorry that I haven't used them more. I've got some vague ideas for using them up involving gift bags and gift tags. Anyway, I think they look adorable on this card with the complementary sweet pea designer paper. The weather this weekend was pretty lousy so after doing some house work, I decided that I could afford to spend some quality time in my stamp room. I turned to the Stamping 411 sketch for my layout and I let the colors of the sweet pea dp be my guide.

Keep It Simple Sweetie
The Pals Paper Arts challenge this week was a KISS: keep it simple sweetie. I was pondereing what my card would be when along came Saturday and the Stampin 411 sketch challenge. It just screamed KISS to me. So off to my stamp room I went and this is what I came up with.
I've got a lot of birthdays coming up and the more birthday cards I make the better off I am!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have time to stamp today!
