Freshly Made Sketches 331

Wednesday, April 4, 2018

How about a brand new sketch challenge from your friends at Freshly Made Sketches?  And how about a brand new guest designer?  This month we are so pleased to say that Tracey McNeely will be joining us as our guest designer!  Pop on over to her blog to say hello!  And this week our sketch is brought  to you by Cécile.  I predict you are going to love it!

What a fantastic sketch!  How can you not love it?  Those wispy leaves are quintessential Cécile and I tried to do them a little justice with my silver ones.  My silver and gold color scheme are inspired by the anything goes challenge at TGIF.  The inspiration is to come from one of their designers and I chose Shesha Bloodhart's card as my inspiration.  I love how her design is a classic silver and gold one.

Thanks for stopping by.  And I hope that you can join us at Freshly Made Sketches this week with your own take on our sketch!

Stamps:  Scripty Greetings (The Ton)
Paper:  Solar White (Neenah); Silver, Gold Glimmer (Recollections)
Ink:  Jet Black (Altenew)
Accessories:  Curvy Leaves die (Elizabeth Craft Designs); Anémones die (4enscrap); Royal Garden sequins (Pretty Pink Posh)

Clean and gorgeous! I love the mix of silver and gold, and the washi tape is perfect for the sketch.

Jen how I've missed your beautiful CAS style! A perfect take on the sketch and using washi for the vertical lines is brilliant!

Why didn't I think of using washi on my card! This looks amazing - so crisp and clean and modern. I absolutely love it!
