I'm in full scale
panic crafting mode as regards my Christmas card stash. I've been making Christmas cards on a semi-irregular basis all year long and I'm still short the number that I need. Enter the newest sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, brought to you by the sublimely talented and sometimes rhinestone covered, Cindy Hall. The sketch was perfect for a little hapless elf that I've got in my stash so I started coloring him up on Sunday in between football and making some other cards that I would need for the week.
By the time I was ready to assemble my card I thought this guy needed a little snarky sentiment to go along with the tangled mess he's got himself in so I grabbed the only snarky Christmas set I've got. And it's pretty snarky!
I dug deep in my stash and used some old card stock and DSP for the background and threaded some festive baker's twine around to take the place of one of the layers on the sketch. At least I've got one more card for the old stash, but this one is definitely a one-off. It takes me too long to do all that coloring!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you check out the design team cards at Freshly Made Sketches. There is quite a variety to see!
