This is not a new card but I had some fun news to share regarding it. Some months ago I was asked by Beate to do a tutorial for Splitcoast Stampers on the "bordered sentiment." To say I was flabbergasted would be a huge understatement. But I agreed and nervously put together my humble instructions. The tutorial debuted yesterday and you can find it here.
This is the card I made:
I have a new appreciation for those of you who do tutorials on a regular basis. It's hard work trying to take pictures of what you are doing while you are doing it, as well as come up with a commentary that is not overly wordy yet still conveys the instructions clearly. But, I did it and I'm so grateful to Splitcoast Stampers for the opportunity. I didn't invent this technique, but I do love how it looks and have used it often.
So thanks for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy the tutorial!

I saw this on SCS yesterday and printed it out! I'd tried this but it didn't turn out so good. Can't wait to try it again using your tutorial! So many just do a video tutorial and I really appreciate the print one. My memory isn't as good as it used to be and the computer in the craft room is old and slow and doesn't always cooperated with the videos. This is an awesome card. Hope I can make one that pretty!
Beautiful card. Must try your technique.
I saw this yesterday also on the SCS newsletter. Absolutely love everything about it. Can't wait to try this technique out.
Wonderful pitures, great tut and a gorgeous card. I know how difficult it is to write concise directions that are easy to understand and doing the pictures to go with it must be hard also. Thanks for terrific directions and picutres. I came here from SCS. I noticed your live in southeastern Mass - I am from Maine.
What a gorgeous card and congrats!!!
