I think it's been a while since I've participated in Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge. So this week I was determined to make a card with the sketch. I paired it with the Paper Players color challenge (which I think has the most delicious colors I've seen this Christmas season).
I used Crumb Cake as my neutral so I didn't want to use another light colored panel on the oval (such as whisper white or very vanilla). I stamped the tree from Perfect Presentation in Versamark on my Cherry Cobbler oval and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I sponged the edges of the Cherry Cobbler oval and I think it makes the embossed tree show up nicely.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have time to stamp today!

Hi Jen! I am so happy you played along with the Paper Players this week! I love the embossed image on the Cherry face! Neat idea...use of Crumb cake really sets off the Cherry Cobbler!!
Smiles,
Lesley
Very pretty! The mix of DSP is beautiful and I love the image embossed on the Cherry Cobbler card stock. The sponging around the edges gives it SO much pop! Thanks for joining The Paper Players! :)
So pretty! I love the combination of DSP you've used especially the subtle Crumb Cake BG paper. Looks so lovely with the Cherry Cobbler. The embossed tree is gorgeous! So glad you could join us at the Paper Players this week!
